Oswald Chambers today
is on the verse in Isaiah 6:8 "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."
This goes with the verse from Matthew below from Matthew "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
But Oswald Chambers notes that the call of God is not a "strong compulsion" .
Instead, the reponse to that "still small voice" is made in perfect freedom.
"Get out of your mind the idea of expecting God to come with compulsions and pleadings. When our Lord called His disciples there was no irresistible compulsion form outside."
